Systematic solution to pattern issues in fiber laser marking machine

1. Local unclearness issue

When using a fiber laser marking machine to create marking patterns, there may sometimes be issues with partial unclearness of the patterns. This problem may be related to uneven thickness of the embossing plate, improper embossing pressure, improper temperature, and machine accuracy. When the thickness deviation of the embossing plate exceeds 0.001mm, it may lead to blurring of the pattern. We first need to check whether the thickness of the embossing plate remains uniform, ensuring that the thickness deviation is within the strict range of 0.001mm. At the same time, the embossing pressure is also crucial, neither too small nor too large, to maintain the best embossing effect.

Temperature is also a factor that cannot be ignored. It needs to be ensured to be within an appropriate range to avoid affecting the imprinting quality due to excessively low temperature. In addition, the precision of the machine also needs regular inspection and maintenance to ensure it maintains a high-precision state. In terms of process control, attention should also be paid to the hardness of the embossing plate to ensure it can withstand internal stress during the imprinting process and avoid deformation or damage.

2. Dullness and lack of luster

When the marking pattern of the fiber laser marking machine appears dim and lackluster, we need to check whether the heating temperature is set too low, and also confirm whether the embossing pressure has decreased. The embossing pressure requires comprehensive consideration of various factors such as embossing temperature, holographic material, coating layer softening point, and embossing plate status. Too high a pressure may damage the embossing plate or holographic material, while too low a pressure will affect the clarity and integrity of the embossed image.

For marking machines using a rotary embossing method, the initial pressure of the pressure rollers on both sides is usually set at around 0.08 MPa. As embossing begins, the pressure needs to be gradually and uniformly increased to 0.30 to 0.50 MPa. In addition, the embossing speed is also a key factor affecting the marking quality, and it needs to be adjusted based on comprehensive factors such as imprint quality and machine performance.

3. Whitening and unevenness issues

During the operation of a fiber laser marking machine, if the marking pattern appears whitened, it is necessary to check whether the embossing speed is too slow and confirm whether the embossing temperature is too high. If the pattern is clear in some areas and blurry in others, it may be related to uneven temperature distribution in the hot pressing device or unevenness of the embossing plate itself. If such unevenness appears in the marking pattern, it may be caused by uneven temperature distribution in the hot pressing device or unevenness of the embossing plate itself.
